West Yorkshire Voice (including Craven) launches
People and communities across West Yorkshire (and Craven in North Yorkshire) are invited to be part of a new network called ‘West Yorkshire Voice’ (making a difference in health and care). This network will play an important role in influencing decision-making across the area.
If you live in North Yorkshire, but access NHS health and social care services, then you can have your say.
West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership is passionate about making sure the voice of people is central to its work. It has therefore asked local Healthwatch to work together to develop the West Yorkshire Voice to feed directly into decisions made about health and social care.
It will be developed in partnership with local people to reflect our diverse communities. It will make sure that the real voice of people with lived experience is heard by those who make decisions about health and care services in West Yorkshire.
Some of the topics that might be coming up over the next few months which members of West Yorkshire Voice can have a say on are: dentistry, community services, social care and mental health services.
