Who Healthwatch is
Healthwatch North Yorkshire is an independent organisation dedicated to ensuring your voice is heard by those who provide, fund, and organise healthcare services across the county. Whether it's GPs, hospitals, dentists, care homes, or pharmacies, we gather feedback from people like you to help improve the standards of care. We also provide reliable information to help you navigate health services.
What you can expect
During the webinar, we’ll discuss the impact your feedback has had, as outlined in our annual report. From advocating for better services to ensuring patients' voices are central in decision-making, we’ll highlight how we’ve championed the concerns of people locally.
Topics we will cover
We'll also dive into two key reports:
1. The accessibility of GP websites – What we found, what needs improvement, and what’s being done to make GP websites more user-friendly.
2. Mothers' experiences of postnatal community care – What we found, the support available and the changes we’re advocating for.
Who can attend
This event is open to anyone:
- Members of the public
- Voluntary and community organisations, social enterprises and charities
- Managers and staff across NHS health and social care
