Why do we want people to know about Healthwatch?

With a population of 615,491 in North Yorkshire (2021 census), and a geography that spans a lot of rural areas, we want people to share experiences and feel heard.

You might think "I feel lost, I don't know where to turn to." Or "What's the point? Nothing ever changes." But every story shared with us matters. Thanks to thousands of people like you, speaking up, we've been able to champion big healthcare changes.

We make sure NHS leaders and those who fund and plan health and care services continue to listen to feedback.
